LoveHeart’s new Family Sharing feature allows you to enhance communication with families and invite them to be an active part of their child’s learning and development.
This feature provides a secure, private space for families to view learning journeys, share stories, and engage with educators.
Note: The Families feature is only available on Pro and Centre / Enterprise plans.
Importantly, only Owners and Managers have the ability to enable this setting. If your centre is part of a larger organisation, your Organisation Manager will be responsible for activating Family Sharing.
To access the Families feature, ensure it is enabled by following these steps:
Click the profile icon in the top left corner.
Click on Team Settings.
Under Team Features, click on Families.
Click the toggle on the right to enable Families. The toggle will be on if the circle is on the right side. To date, enabling families comes at no additional cost
Click into 'Journeys'
Click into a child's profile.
In the top part of the screen click 'Family sharing'
Click "Invite' in the top right
Enter the email of the person(s). Allocate them as Parent (i.e. they will have the ability to comment on documents / message the centre) or Viewer (e.g. a grandparent, who will not have the ability to comment / message - only view).
Repeat steps 6-9 with remaining children at your centre.
Ensure parents have accepted the invite, which will direct them to sign in via web / download the app.
