We've introduced new document types that let you break down the planning cycle into more focused, short-form pieces. Instead of capturing everything in Learning Stories, you can now go more in-depth on each part of the cycle separately.

Short-form documents for in-depth focus

Assessment – Analyse children's learning or development. Similar to the assessment section of a Learning Story, but as a standalone piece.

Planning Ideas – Brainstorm potential experiences or projects. A quick way to capture ideas for next steps.

Strategies – Outline specific approaches for supporting children's needs or goals. Record targeted methods to help a child progress.

Future Goals – Brainstorm aims for a child's or group's continued progress. Set intentions for where learning should head next.

Plan Review – Reflect on how a plan is working and note any changes needed.

Evaluation – Review what worked well and what could be better.

Long-form documents for comprehensive records

Milestone Summary – An overview of a child's growth across learning domains. Link previous documents together to create a report and developmental summary.

Full Cycle – Capture the whole process from observation to evaluation in one comprehensive record.

Grow feature only

Meeting Minutes – Capture notes from team or family meetings, including decisions and actions.

Teacher Reflection – A personal space for educators to reflect on their professional practice.
