Grow is Mana's feature for managing educator professional development. It brings goal setting, progress tracking, evidence collection, and mentor support into one place, making PGCs and appraisals easier for everyone.
What can Grow do?
For Educators
Set meaningful goals: Create a professional growth goal with guidance from Coach Sue. She'll help you break it down into achievable steps and check in throughout the year.
Track your journey: Your progress is displayed in a guided journey with clear stages such as Goal Setting, Practice & Implementation and Reflection.
Capture evidence as you go: Add reflections, jottings, and documentation directly to your goal journey. Everything stays connected so you can see your growth over time.
Stay connected with your mentor: When you set a goal, a dedicated chat is created with your mentor. Use it to ask questions, share wins, or book a check-in.
Get helpful reminders: Your dashboard will prompt you throughout the year to reflect, add evidence, or connect with your mentor.
Celebrate your progress: At the end of your goal cycle, you'll receive a summary of your journey, including key moments, reflections, and feedback.
For Mentors & Centre Leaders
See progress at a glance: View goal status across your mentees or your whole team from one dashboard.
Support compliance requirements: Use built-in checklists to review whether staff have met key criteria, like completing mentor meetings, observations, and professional learning.
Leave feedback and approve goals: Comment directly on a staff member's journey and mark goals as complete when they're ready.
