This view provides quick access to critical insights about children, educators, and journeys across your service, helping you stay organised and proactive.

From this central dashboard, you can:

  • Allocate children to educators and rooms

  • Track overdue or missing journeys

  • Monitor cycles that are falling behind

  • View key children and documentation summaries

Step-by-Step: Navigating the New Home View

1. Access the Home View

  • Click into the Home tab

  • While logged in with a Manager role you will have access to additional features

  • You'll see a series of summary boxes showing real-time insights about children and their journeys.

2. Assigning Children to Educators or Rooms

Assign Children to Educators

  • If you see a box labeled “X children missing a key educator”, click into it.

  • Select one or more children and click “Assign”.

  • Choose one or multiple educators from the list to complete the assignment.

Assign Children to Rooms

  • You’ll also see a box for children missing a room.

  • Click in, select the children, and assign them to the appropriate rooms.

3. Managing Journey Progress

Overdue Journeys

  • The “Overdue Journeys” box shows journeys where the review date has passed.

  • Click in to view overdue items by room or educator.

  • See which children still need work completed on their current cycle.

Journeys Falling Behind

  • These journeys are approaching their review date but don’t yet have enough progress to stay on track.

  • Use this to proactively support educators before cycles become overdue.

Children Missing a Journey

  • View which children don’t have any journeys yet.

  • Sort by room or educator and click to create a journey for a child directly from this screen.

Use it regularly to keep your service aligned, compliant, and well-supported.
