The difference between "Link evidence" and "Evidence" text box in a Grow journey step

When adding evidence to a step in your Grow journey, there are two separate areas. Here's what each one does and when to use them.

Link evidence attaches an existing Mana document to a Grow Journey action. The Evidence workspace is where you write notes and add files directly to that action. For a PowerPoint presentation, export a PDF first and upload that PDF.

Link an existing Mana document

Open the action and select Link evidence under Linked Evidence. In Link document, use Search documents and choose the relevant document. Check that it appears under Linked Evidence.

Write or upload evidence

Use the action’s Evidence workspace to add your notes, PDFs or photos. Use its edit and save controls when changing the document. Wait for uploads to finish and check that the attachment appears.

Files are added to this action’s evidence document; uploading another file does not require a separate document for each attachment.

PowerPoint or upload problems

PowerPoint files are not supported in this Journey-action upload picker. Export your presentation as a PDF in PowerPoint, then add it to the same action.

If the PDF still fails, keep your original file and contact Help & Support with the action name, file type/size and error shown.
