Release update: 14 September 2026. Available family actions depend on the access provided by your early learning setting.

What is new for families?

Plans for home. Families can try practical activities linked to their child’s learning, then share what they notice as a Memory. Read Choose a Plan to try at home and Create and share a Memory.

Videos load 70% faster. Faster photo and video loading is rolling out gradually over seven days from 14 September 2026. The updated media viewer also brings clearer controls, better layouts and more helpful download messages. Read View photos and videos in Mana Families.

More control over notifications. Guided setup helps families choose their updates and allow notifications on each device. If notifications are blocked, Mana explains what to do next. Read Manage your notification preferences or Enable Mana notifications on your phone.

An easier family experience. Mana 2.11 improves profiles, invitations, child switching, All About Me access and Memory draft recovery. Unread counts work across profiles. Read Switch between your Mana profiles, Tell educators about your child with All About Me, or Find your way around Mana Families.

What is new for educators and leaders?

Reporting — Beta. Centre and organisation reports show month-to-date progress across Journeys, Grow, Docs, Coaching and Families, alongside available history. Open reports refresh as new reporting data arrives. For help reading Journey and Grow reports, see Understanding reporting in Mana: Journey insights and Grow insights.

Keep working while PDFs generate. Mana prepares PDFs from documents, Programs, Journeys and coaching while you continue working. Return to download or print in Mana. Generated copies and their links remain available for seven days.

Program layouts that fit your planning. Set Program columns and rows from your group’s Program Template. Use Areas when planning without a Room, with more consistent templates for future Programs. Read How do I set up a Program Template for a Room?

Find shared work sooner. Child and Room menus link to Journeys, Programs, recent documents and Spontaneous Moments. Family access is also in the child menu. Read View and update a child’s profile for the child’s learning and family-access links.

Bring PDF evidence into coaching. Add supported PDFs alongside your other coaching evidence.

What else has improved?

Mana 2.11 also improves uploads and recording recovery, Grow completion and follow-ups, and Journeys and History navigation. Child and Room status confirmations are clearer, billing notices appear in the right organisation, and mobile layouts and accessibility have improved.
