Choose a Plan to try at home

Choose a suggested Plan for your child and add it to your own Currently doing list.

Written by Himal Randeniya

A Plan gives you a practical idea to explore with your child at home. You choose which suggestion to add; reading an educator's update does not automatically commit you to a Plan.

You need Full access for the child to create Plans. The Plans you create belong to your Mana account and that child. Another family member using their own account may have a different Plan list.

Choose and add a Plan

  1. Open Home and find Your plans, shown as Home Plans on larger screens.

  2. Select Create a plan.

  3. Choose the child using Create plans for followed by their name.

  4. Wait for Suggested plans, then open a suggestion to read it.

  5. If it suits your family, select Add this plan.

Mana confirms a successful addition with 1 plan added to currently doing. Check the Currently doing list for the saved Plan. Generating or reading suggestions alone does not add one.

Make the idea work for your family

Read the suggestion alongside what you know about your child's interests, routines and response. Choose a manageable opportunity to try it together. There is no requirement to add every suggestion or complete a daily quota.

Your observations at home can add a perspective educators do not see in their setting. A Plan is an invitation to explore, not a promise of a particular developmental result.

If a Plan is missing or will not add

Check that you are using the account that created it and the intended child. If the action is unavailable, ask your early learning setting to check your access.

If Mana shows an error, keep the message and email [email protected]. Check Currently doing before trying to add the same suggestion again.
