Open Home to read the updates and Memories available to your family. These give you a starting point for understanding your child’s experiences and talking with educators about what you notice at home.

Find an update

  1. Open Home and select an update to read it.

  2. If you have more than one child, use Filter and sort to choose the child you want to focus on.

  3. Use Created by to include updates from Centre or Family. Choose Unread updates only when you want to catch up on items you have not read.

  4. Use Reset to clear filters if the feed does not show what you expect.

Centre is the product label for your child’s early learning setting. Your feed depends on the information shared with your account; it is not a complete record of everything educators do during the day.

Add your perspective

Select Discuss on an available update to open a conversation with its context attached. If Mana asks Which child is this about?, choose the child you mean. Write and send your message in that child’s family conversation.

You might explain that your child repeated an activity at home, share a question, or describe a different response. Families and educators see children in different settings; those observations can help each other make sense of their interests and needs.

With Full access, use Create when you want to make a separate Memory. A draft is shared only when you deliberately select Share. Ask your setting to check your access if this action is unavailable.

Connect updates with learning

Goals shows the available Journeys and Programs. With Full access, you can request practical ideas at home using Create a plan in the Plans section on Home, then choose a suggestion to add.

If an update seems to be missing

Check your filters and whether the item was hidden. In Account, select Hidden memories, then Show memories to restore all your hidden Memories to Home. Ask your setting if it has shared the update and whether your account has access.

Adjust future alerts in AccountNotification preferences. For a technical error, use Help & support in Account, or email [email protected].
