A Memory lets you share a moment from home and the perspective that goes with it. A few words about what your child noticed, tried or enjoyed can help educators understand the experience beyond a photo.
You need Full access for the child to create and share a Memory.
Start a Memory
Select Create in the main navigation.
If Mana offers a child chooser, select the child the Memory is about. With one eligible child, Mana uses that child.
Add a title and a caption, or add a title and photo or video.
Wait for every attachment to finish uploading.
Review the child, words and attachments, then select Share.
A photo is optional: a title and caption are enough. A title on its own is not enough to share. If you started the Memory from a Plan, the Plan's title may already supply the title.
Starting the draft or attaching a file does not share the Memory. After Share, check that Mana has finished sharing and that the Memory is available as a shared update.
Start from a Plan or return to its draft
Open a current Plan and select Share a memory. If an unfinished draft is already linked to that Plan, this action returns to it. A completed Plan shows Continue memory when it has an unfinished linked draft. The Plan's Memories section opens shared Memories.
Changing the child on a Plan-linked Memory removes the Plan link after confirmation; the caption and media stay. Check the intended child before sharing.
If sharing fails
Incomplete or failed uploads can prevent sharing. Keep the draft and read the error before trying again. If Mana offers Retry share, use it after addressing the problem rather than creating a duplicate Memory.
