Enable Mana notifications on your phone

Choose phone notification permissions and Mana notification preferences.

Allow Mana notifications in your phone’s Settings, then check your Mana push preferences. In-app settings cannot override blocked device permission.

On iPhone or iPad

  1. Open Settings → Notifications → Mana, or Apps → Mana → Notifications.

  2. Turn on Allow Notifications and choose where alerts appear and whether they make a sound.

On Android

  1. Open Settings → Notifications → App notifications → Mana, or Apps → Mana → Notifications.

  2. Turn notifications on and review any categories shown. Labels vary by Android device.

Check Mana Families alerts

Open Account → Notification preferences. Enable New documents shared and/or Messages from staff as needed. Email preferences are separate.

Choose which family updates trigger push alerts. The settings shown are examples.

Your choices sync across devices. Allow notifications separately on each device you use.

Mana Teachers email settings

Account → Settings → Notifications controls Membership activity emails. Important account alerts still send immediately. See Manage your notification preferences for email options.

If alerts still do not appear

Check Focus or Do Not Disturb. Delivery is not guaranteed immediately. Email [email protected] with your device and expected alert; use your setting’s usual contact method for urgent questions.
