Start with the invitation from your child’s early learning setting. Sign in using the email address that received it, then choose your language and notification preferences. Once you are connected, you can read shared updates and contribute what you notice at home.

Before you start

You need access to the invited email address and an internet connection. If you have not received an invitation, check your junk or spam folder and ask your setting to check the address it used.

An invitation connects an account to the right child. Creating an account with another email address does not transfer that access.

Join your child’s family experience

  1. Open the invitation email and follow its joining link.

  2. Create an account or sign in with the invited email address. If you already use Mana, use that existing account when its address matches the invitation.

  3. Complete any email verification or account details Mana requests.

  4. Follow the invitation screen. Some links accept automatically and show Accepting your invitation…, then You’re in!. If your screen shows Accept, select it.

Choose your starting preferences

Initial setup takes you through language, notifications and a welcome introduction. Choose the language that works for your family and follow the notification choices shown on your device.

You can change these later in Account under Document language and Notification preferences. Your document language becomes the default for future documents; older documents are not all changed automatically.

Make your first connection

Open Home to read an update, and Goals to explore shared Journeys and Programs. If your setting has enabled All About Me and you have Full access, open your child in Account and select AboutAll About Me to contribute what matters to your family.

There is no need to contribute every day or write a polished observation. A small detail about your child’s interests, routines or response to an experience can give educators useful context.

If your child is missing, check that you used the invited email and ask your setting to check your access. For an app error, open AccountHelp & support, or choose to email [email protected].
