Accept another family invitation

Connect another child or early learning invitation to your existing Mana account using the invitation email.

Use the new invitation email to add another family connection to your existing Mana account. Signing in alone does not accept every invitation, and an account’s access depends on the email address that was invited.

Before you accept

Check which address received the new invitation. If it matches your existing Mana account, use that account. If your setting invited a different address and you want one account, ask it to reissue the invitation to your existing account’s email.

This check matters when you have several children, use more than one email address, or also use Mana as an educator.

Open the new invitation

  1. Open the email for the child or family connection you want to add.

  2. Select its joining link.

  3. Sign in with the matching Mana account if asked. Complete email verification if Mana requests it.

  4. Follow the invitation screen. Direct invitations can accept automatically, showing Accepting your invitation… followed by You’re in!. If a card offers Accept, select it.

  5. Return to the family experience and check that the expected child is available.

If you use several Mana profiles, AccountSwitch profile lets you choose from the profiles available to you. This control appears when there are profiles to switch between.

Find your child’s updates

Open Home and check the child selection in Filter and sort. A filter for another child can hide the updates you expect. Use Reset if you want to clear the filters.

The updates you can see also depend on what your child’s setting has shared and the access attached to the invitation. Accepting an invitation does not guarantee that earlier updates will appear.

If the invitation is missing or fails

Start again from the new invitation email. If an acceptance error offers Try again, use that action. Ask your setting to check the invited address, invitation and child access if the problem continues.

There is no need to create another account just because another child has been invited. For a technical error, choose to email [email protected]. See Find your way around Mana Families after your child is connected.
