Accepting your family invitation connects your Mana account to your child. Begin with the joining link in the invitation email and use the same email address when you create an account or sign in.
Check the invited address
Your child’s early learning setting sends the invitation. You need access to the email account that received it. If you want to use a different address, ask your setting to send an invitation to that address before continuing.
If the email has not arrived, check junk or spam and ask your setting to check the address and invitation. A separate Mana account does not automatically gain access to your child.
Follow your invitation
Open the invitation email and select its joining link.
Create your Mana account, or sign in if you already have one, using the invited address.
Follow any email verification instructions and return to the joining screen. Complete any account details requested.
Wait while Mana connects the invitation. A direct invitation can show Accepting your invitation… and then You’re in! without another button. If an invitation card shows Accept, select it.
Continue through any language, notification and welcome setup shown.
When joining is complete, look for your child in the family experience. Home will show updates that have been shared with your account. An empty feed does not, by itself, mean the invitation failed.
If you already use Mana
You can use an existing account when its email matches the invitation, including an account you also use as an educator. Open the family invitation email while signed in to that account. For another child or invitation, see Accept another family invitation.
If joining does not finish
If Mana says it could not accept the invitation, select Try again. Check that you are signed in with the invited address and have completed email verification.
If the invitation is unavailable or your child still does not appear, ask your setting to check your invitation and access. For a technical error, you can choose to email [email protected], describing the step and error message.
