Set Document language to help you read future shared learning in the language you prefer. You can also use the available translation controls when opening an older document.
The language you use at home is part of the perspective you bring. You do not need to change it to match the language used by your child's early learning setting.
Set your document language
Open Account.
Select Document language.
Choose your preferred language from the available list.
Check Auto-translate documents and choose whether you want automatic translation.
Mana saves these choices when you select them. Wait for saving to finish and check for any error before leaving the screen.
The new default applies to future documents and catch-ups shared with you. Changing it does not translate the entire archive again or change the original document.
Translate an older document
Open the document you want to read.
If translation is available, select Translate to followed by your chosen language.
Wait for the translation.
Select See original when you want to check the original wording.
The translation control can show the language currently displayed. If you want to read a different language, change Document language in Account and use the document's available translation control.
If the wording or translation is unclear
A translation can help you follow shared learning, but ask your child's educators if you need to clarify what a document means.
If Mana cannot load your language choice, read the displayed message and retry before assuming it has changed. If translation fails or a technical problem continues, email [email protected] with the error message and the action you were trying.
