Hi team,
I wanted to share something with you directly. We have made the decision to roll out Mana across [Org Name], and I'm genuinely excited about what this means for our organisation.
In the months to come, we'll be transitioning from [insert system name] to Mana as our platform for [choose what you will be using Mana for, i.e. documentation, planning, programming and family communication]. This isn't just a system swap. It's a real shift in how we support your practice.
What is Mana?
Mana is an intelligent child-development platform built specifically for early childhood educators. It brings documentation, planning and family communication together in one place. It's designed to elevate your ability to analyse, describe and build on each child's learning, while helping families stay closely engaged.
How it actually works
The Mana process always starts and ends with your voice. You will never see the words of a machine shared with a family. Here's how it works:
You write/share context first. Your own observations, in your own words
Mana supports you. It suggests richer language, asks questions and provides thoughtful prompts based on leading early-years frameworks
You fine-tune. Every note is yours before it is shared with families [insert information - for example: shared with families via Mana / via another platform]
Every minute saved on documentation goes straight back into the classroom: more play, more discovery, more one-on-one time with the children in your care.
Supporting your wellbeing
We know that documentation can be exhausting. Mana takes on the laborious parts so you can return to teaching with more energy. Reducing that administrative load is one of the most meaningful ways we can support your wellbeing and guard against burnout.
Meet Coach Sue
Built into Mana is Coach Sue, a pedagogical mentor who draws on global early-learning frameworks and pedagogies to prompt your critical reflection. Sue doesn't give you all the answers. She asks questions and offers perspectives that help you reach new insights about your practice.
Think of her as a thoughtful colleague who's always available, never too busy, and never judges the question.
Multilingual and voice support
Mana works in your home language, not just English, whether you're speaking or writing. It means you're never held back by documenting in English, and every family can stay close to their child's learning in the language they use at home, which builds real inclusion and connection.
What's happening with [Insert Current System Name]?
[Insert information about what is happening with any systems you currently use that will be replaced, or adjusted in terms of the features you will use for them].
A note about privacy
Mana's security credentials are strong:
SOC 2 Type II certified: one of the highest information security certifications available
All data is stored securely and accessible only by our teaching team: families only see what we decide to share with them
No AI models are trained on our identifiable information, and anything we delete is permanently gone
Training and Onboarding
[Insert description of the rollout approach, for example: we will have some centres onboard to Mana in this month, then other centres will follow in {insert time period}]
We're not expecting anyone to be a Mana expert from day one. We'll learn this together.
Come and talk to me
If you have questions, concerns, or just want to talk through what this means for you, please come and find me. I'd much rather you ask than sit with something unanswered.
Warm regards,
