Gather evidence of implementation

Gather observations in all forms including jottings, learning stories, daily diaries, letters and photos to showcase your plans in action

Written by Sithmi Rajapaksa

While implementing your learning plan/s, capture the experience and how the child is engaging in the experiences. This will be the evidence to help you reflect on the journey and could be a range of things including simple jottings, child voice, photos, daily diaries, letters, learning stories, etc.

Step-by-step guide:

1. Look for the Coach Sue suggestions

You may find it in the following areas:

  • "Follow-Ups" section in a plan

  • Within any Journey under the relevant stage

Tip: Don’t see any suggestions? Go to View Journey → Select document → Follow Ups → Regenerate to refresh the suggestions.

2. Create using a suggestion or "Choose my own" → Select document type

3. Choose the mode you'd like to write in from the top right corner

4. Add your notes by text or voice

5. Click Generate

6. Read, review, edit and approve your document while in Edit Mode

  • Edit the document content/title directly

  • Use the Magic Edit bar ("What should I change?") for quick edits (e.g., extra suggestions)

  • Translate your document into any available language with Translate (original in English will appear below the translation)

  • Use Fix Grammar & Spelling if you wrote in additional information directly

  • Upload media (images, videos, PDFs)

7. Select Save to enter Viewing Mode

  • Use the panel on the right to scroll through:

    • Info: your original text & observed, created, and last modified dates

    • Coach Sue: for a coaching conversation

    • Follow Ups: to view location of the document and choose next steps

8. Go back to the child's Journey and check for next steps suggested by Coach Sue.
