Create a Room from Program, then choose the children who belong in it. You can return to the Room’s Profile whenever you need to update its name, children, status or Program Template.
Create a Room
Select Program from the left menu.
Select Add Room.
Enter the Room name.
Under Children in this group, choose the children to include. You can also leave this empty and add children later.
Select Create Room.
Your new Room will appear in Program. Find the Room in the list when you need to update it.
Add children
Open Program and select the Room.
Select Profile.
Select Children, then select Add child.
Choose one or more children.
Select the button showing your total, such as Add 1 child or Add 3 children.
Add Rooms from a child’s Profile
Open Journeys and find the child.
Open the child’s three-dot menu and select Profile.
Under Rooms, select Manage Rooms.
Select Add Room and choose the active Rooms to add.
Select the button showing your selection, such as Add to 1 Room or Add to 2 Rooms.
The child’s Rooms list updates after the change. The child must be active, and you need permission to manage their Room membership. If no active Rooms are available, ask a manager to check the Room setup.
Remove a child
On the Room’s Children page, open More actions for the child.
Select Remove from Room.
If the change affects open Program plans, read the impact shown by Mana. Select Remove anyway to continue or Keep in Room to cancel.
Removing a child from a Room can unplace that child’s open plans from the Room’s Program Template; the affected plans are not deleted. You can also remove a Room from the child’s Profile → Manage Rooms page using the Room’s menu.
Update the Room’s name or status
From the Room’s Profile, select the Room name or Status you want to change, then save the updated value.
Set up columns and rows for new Programs
From the Room’s Profile, select Program Template. This is where you choose and order the columns and optional rows used by new Programs for the Room. If it is read-only for you, ask a manager or owner to make changes.
