Create a checklist template for your centre

Save and publish the checks your centre needs to complete.

Written by Himal Randeniya

Open Compliance → Checklists → Templates in your centre team to create a reusable checklist. Template management is available to centre managers and owners with the required access when new Compliance work is enabled.

Create and publish a template

  1. Select New template and enter a Checklist name. Add a description if it helps your team.

  2. Name the first section, then enter each check. Use the optional guidance fields to explain what educators should look for.

  3. Choose the evidence requirement for each check: Optional, Required when passed, or Required when there is an issue.

  4. Select Save draft. When the checklist is ready, select Publish and confirm.

Checklist template editor with callout 1 on Checklist name and 2 on Section name.

1 Name the checklist. 2 Group its checks into a named section.

A published version is fixed so completed runs retain the exact checks people answered. To change it later, choose Edit as new version.

Publishing makes the template available for use; it does not create a schedule or complete any checks. Centre-owned templates belong to the centre you are working in.
