Upload a PDF to your own Grow Files, then link it to a teaching standard.

Upload the PDF to Files in your own Grow profile, then link it to the relevant teaching standard. Uploading and linking are separate actions. A mentor’s view is read-only for these actions.

1. Upload your PDF

Open Grow → Files. Choose Upload files and select your PDF. The upload saves automatically; there is no separate Save button. Check that your PDF appears in Files.

Grow Files: 1 is Upload files, the control for adding a PDF to your own Grow profile.

1 — Upload files

2. Choose the standard

Return to Grow and open Standards. Select the teaching standard you want to connect the PDF to.

Grow Standards overview: 1 marks Review, which opens a specific teaching standard. Example counts are from an approved demo profile.

1 — Review

3. Link your PDF

Under Available evidence, find your PDF. Use Show all if needed, then select Link beside the file.

Available evidence in a Grow teaching standard: 1 marks Link beside the selected synthetic PDF.

1 — Link

4. Check the connection

Confirm the PDF appears under Linked evidence. To remove the connection, select Unlink; the file stays in Files.

Linked evidence in a Grow teaching standard: 1 confirms Linked; 2 marks Unlink, which removes the connection while retaining the PDF in Files.

1 — Linked
2 — Unlink

If the PDF is missing, check your own Grow profile and Files again. For help, contact Support with the standard name and exact error.
