How to Start a Coaching Session

Step 1: Open the Coach Sue tab and start a new conversation

Step 2: Choose how you’d like to communicate and begin the conversation

You can connect with Coach Sue in whichever way suits you best:

  • Type your question or reflection into the text box.

  • Record a voice memo if you prefer to speak, just tap the microphone icon.

  • Upload an image if you’d like to reflect on a specific learning environment or event. Coach Sue can guide you through what’s happening in the photo.

You can start simply with:

“Hi Coach Sue, I’d like some help with [topic].”

Or try something specific, such as:

  • “How can I support an educator who’s finding planning tricky?”

  • “Can you help me reflect on our transitions between routines?”

Coach Sue will ask clarifying questions and offer thoughtful, context-based guidance- not just generic answers.

  • Be specific: the more detail you give, the more tailored Coach Sue’s responses will be.

  • Change title, copy, download or print your conversation:

🔒 Privacy and Sharing

All sessions with Coach Sue are private by default- no one else can view your conversation unless you choose to share it.

If you’d like to share a session for team reflection or professional development:

1. Tap the Private icon in the top right.

2. Select Share with Team and the icon will change to Team, and the session will become visible to your colleagues.

⚠️ Important note:

  • Coach Sue conversations cannot be deleted.

  • Once shared, it can’t be made private again.
