You can find an inactive child from Journeys and change their Status back to Active when they return. You need access to the child and permission to change their status.

Find the inactive child

  1. Open Journeys.

  2. Select Filter and sort children beside the child search.

  3. Turn on Show inactive and deleted.

  4. Use Search children to find the child, then open their three-dot menu and select Profile.

Reactivate the child

  1. In the child’s Profile, select Status under Info.

  2. Choose Active and select Save.

  3. Check the child’s Rooms and add the current Rooms again where needed. Reactivating a child does not restore their previous Room memberships automatically.

After a successful update, the child’s Profile shows Active. If you still cannot find them in the directory, check the search and filter settings and ask a manager to review your access.

If reactivation is unavailable

A child who is being transferred, or has been transferred, cannot be reactivated through this status change. Contact your manager or Mana for help with the transfer instead of creating a duplicate profile.

For a child who has left your service, follow How do I delete or inactivate a child’s profile?.
