The integration between Xplor and Mana keeps educator, child and family information up to date automatically. Each Xplor centre must first be connected to a Mana team.
Before you enable a centre
When a centre does not yet have a linked Mana team, Mana will ask you to choose how to set it up:
Create a new team - choose this when the centre is starting fresh in Mana.
Map to an existing team - choose this when the centre already uses a Mana team and you want to keep its members and existing work.
Centre sync stays off until you complete one of these options. This prevents an unlinked or duplicate Mana team from being created.
Connect Xplor
In Mana, go to Settings > Integrations.
Select Connect for Xplor and enter the required Xplor details.
Once connected, select Details.
Under Centre Sync Settings, turn on the centre you want to connect.
Choose Create a new team or Map to an existing team.
Confirm the team. Mana will enable centre sync once setup is complete.
Turn on the educator, child and parent or guardian sync settings you need.
Which option should I choose?
Use Create a new team when educators are moving into a fresh Mana team for the Xplor transition.
Use Map to an existing team when educators already work in Mana and need to keep using that team.
Work through centres one at a time. Nothing is created until you confirm your choice.
Keeping records current
Changes in Xplor flow through to Mana. If a child remains active in Xplor, they will also remain active in Mana. Mark children inactive in Xplor once they leave your service.
