Managers can control whether educators can manage their own allocations directly by toggling the Manage Room allocations centrally setting in team settings under Allocations & Access.
Manager-Only Assignment
To restrict room management to managers:
Go to Profile icon > Settings > Team > Management > Allocations & Access
Turn on Manage Room allocations centrally
Managers can now assign educators to each group by selecting Manage Room allocations and following the prompts to assign educators and teachers to relevant rooms
If Manage Room allocations centrally is turned on, only Managers have the ability to assign educators/teachers to Rooms. Educators/teachers will not be able to self-assign to a Room.
Self-Assign a Room/Group
If Manage Room allocations centrally is toggled off, educators can self-assign rooms:
From the Curricula tab, click View All to see all groups
Use the β icons to allocate yourself to a group
