If you've forgotten or lost your Mana password, you can reset it yourself in a couple of minutes. This article is for any Mana user — educator, centre manager, organisation admin or parent — and walks you through resetting your password in your browser or in the Mana app.

💡 When you choose a new password, it must be at least 12 characters long and include an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a digit.

Reset your password through your browser

To reset your password through your browser:

  1. Navigate to Mana's login page.

  2. Enter your email address and select Continue.

  3. Under the blank Password field, select Forgot Password.

  4. Mana will send a password reset email to your address. Follow the instructions in the email to set your new password.

✅ Once you've set your new password, you'll be able to log in to Mana straight away with your email address and new password. If the reset email doesn't arrive, see the FAQ section below.

Reset your password through the Mana app

To reset your password through the Mana app:

  1. Open the Mana app on your device.

  2. Enter your email address and select Continue.

  3. Under the blank Password field, select Forgot Password.

  4. Mana will send a password reset email to your address. Follow the instructions in the email to set your new password.

✅ Once your new password is set, log in to the app with your email address and new password. If anything goes wrong along the way, the FAQ below covers the most common hiccups.

Frequently asked questions about password resets

The reset email hasn't arrived. What should I do?

If the password reset email hasn't arrived in your inbox:

  1. Check your junk or spam folder — security emails from Mana can sometimes end up there.

  2. Double-check the spelling of the email address you entered — it must be the exact address on your Mana account.

  3. Request the reset again from the login page.

If it still doesn't arrive, contact our support team using the details at the bottom of this article and we'll sort it out.

Reset links are only valid for a limited time for security reasons. If your link has expired, simply return to the login page and select Forgot Password again to receive a fresh link. Always use the most recent email — older reset links stop working once a new one is sent.

I can't remember which email address my Mana account uses (or I no longer have access to it)

Your password reset email will only be sent to the email address registered on your Mana account. If you were invited to Mana by your centre, that's usually the address your manager invited you with. If you signed up with an email address you can no longer access, get in touch with our support team and we'll help you recover your account.

I was invited to Mana with a different email address than the one I use. What should I do?

If you were invited to your centre with a different email address to the one you tried to log in with, resetting your password won't help — the account sits under the invited address. You should either create a Mana account using the email address you were invited with, or ask your manager to re-issue the invitation to your preferred email address. 📖 See How to accept an invitation for the full steps.

I usually sign in with Google, Microsoft or Apple. Do I need a password?

If you've linked Single Sign-On (SSO), you can keep signing in with your Google, Microsoft or Apple account and may not need to reset your Mana password at all. 📖 See Can I login to Mana using Single Sign-On?
