Mana can write a summative assessment from the documents you select for a child and date range. New assessments can include dated examples of earlier learning, depending on the available source documents. Review the assessment against its sources before using it. Previously saved assessments are not rewritten automatically.
Step-by-step guide:
Go to the Journeys tab and select the child's journey
Select Create document under the relevant stage (e.g. Evaluation)
Change the document type to Summative Assessment
Select Next, then choose a date range for the assessment period
Choose the existing documents you'd like Mana to draw on
Select Next → Add any additional notes if needed → Generate
Make sure you're in Write with Mana mode before generating
Optional: Once the document appears, use the "What should I change?" bar to apply your centre's headings
For example: "Write the summative assessment against the subheadings X, Y and Z instead"
Mana will rewrite the document to match
Review, edit, and Save when you're happy with the result
