Mana can write a summative assessment for a child using documents already in their Journey and even format it against your preferred headings. It's a great way to streamline your work and show a clear progression of a child's learning over time.
Step-by-step guide:
Go to the Journeys tab and select the child's journey
Select Create document under the relevant stage (e.g. Evaluation)
Change the document type to Summative Assessment
Select Next, then choose a date range for the assessment period
Choose the existing documents you'd like Mana to draw on
Select Next → Add any additional notes if needed → Generate
Make sure you're in Write with Mana mode before generating
Optional: Once the document appears, use the "What should I change?" bar to apply your centre's headings
For example: "Write the summative assessment against the subheadings X, Y and Z instead"
Mana will rewrite the document to match
Review, edit, and Save when you're happy with the result
