Your organisation’s philosophy is the heart of everything you do, guiding your approach to education and care. Mana makes it easy to set and share this philosophy across your each team. Here’s how to do it!
This article is only applicable for Organisation Managers. If you are a Centre Manager or equivalent, visit this help article on updating your centre's settings.
Navigate to your Org space within Mana
Log in to Your Mana Account: Start by logging into your organisation’s Mana account. To confirm you are sitting in the right area within Mana, click on your profile icon in the top left hand corner of your screen. You should see "Org" underneath your organisation's name, like so:
If you don't see "Org", select "Switch" and then identify your Org account from the list of available teams.
Select "Info" from your left hand side navigation bar. Once you select "Info" you should see three sections: Capabilities, Features and Billing. This article focuses on your "Capabilities" section.
Set up your organisation's philosophy
Select the "Philosophy " tile under the Capabilities section. You will see three sections within this tile.
Section 1: Override philosphy: if you enable this button, you can set the philosophy for each of your groups. Mana will intelligently blend a user’s individual philosophy with the group’s philosophy.
Section 2: Set philosophy for each of your Groups. Set the philosophy for each of your groups by clicking on the arrow. This will open up your list of Groups, like so:
Edit: To customise, click on "Edit" next to the group name and add the specific philosophy. You can choose one of the main philosophies, or select custom to add your teams organisational philosophy.
Save Changes: Hit the “Update” button to apply your philosophy across the team that you have selected in Mana.
Section 3: Allow local philosophy: if you enable this button, Mana will blend your Org and Team's localised philosophy to create an individualised profile for each team. This is particularly helpful when each of your centres has their own unique personality and you want to honour that.
Setting a clear and consistent philosophy in Mana helps unify your team and ensures everyone is on the same page. With the ability to override team settings, you can apply specific philosophies to different groups.
