If making sure your team’s communication demonstrates consistency, Mana supports you to set a writing style that reflects your organisation’s unique voice. Whether you prefer a formal tone or something more relaxed, you can easily customise it across your organisation. Let’s walk through how to set it up!

This article is only applicable for Organisation Managers. If you are a Centre Manager or equivalent, visit this help article on updating your centre's settings.

Navigate to your Org space within Mana

  1. Log in to Your Mana Account: Start by logging into your organisation’s Mana account. To confirm you are sitting in the right area within Mana, click on your profile icon in the top left hand corner of your screen. You should see "Org" underneath your organisation's name, like so:

    1. If you don't see "Org", select "Switch" and then identify your Org account from the list of available teams.

  2. Select "Info" from your left hand side navigation bar. Once you select "Info" you should see three sections: Capabilities, Features and Billing. This article focuses on your "Capabilities" section.

Set up your organisation's writing style

  1. Select the "Writing Style" tile.

  2. Provide a writing sample that best shows your organisation's preferred style. If you have set up Groups, you will be able to do this by Group.

    1. Refer to this help article for more information on setting up groups if you would like to segment your centres according to geography, age groups or another categorisation you use internally.

5. Slide to override a team's writing style (if already provided): If you want to apply the writing style to specific groups within your organisation, enable the option to override the teams. Mana will intelligently blend a user’s individual writing style with the group’s writing style.

6. Edit: To customise further, click on "Edit" next to the group name and add the specific writing style.

7. Save Changes: Click the “Update” button to apply your chosen style across all documents and communications in Mana from that group.

By setting a consistent writing style at the Organisation level, you’re giving more clarity to Coach Sue on your expectations for the tone and style of your organisation’s documents that are generated with the support of Mana.

With the ability to override team settings, you can fine-tune communication styles for specific groups. If you ever need to make changes, you can easily revisit these settings.
