The All About Me feature gives families a place to share their child’s interests, preferences, routines and cultural background. Families know their child in ways that may not be visible at the centre. Their perspective helps educators understand the child and build on that knowledge together.
How families contribute
When All About Me is enabled, families use Coach Sue to share information such as their child’s interests, additional needs, cultural considerations and family goals. The family’s response is available in the child’s Profile for educators to refer to.
Where educators find All About Me
Open Journeys and find the child using Search children.
Open the child’s three-dot menu and select Profile.
Find the All About Me section. Check the status beside Initial discussion.
Read the Family response when one is available. Select Review chat when shown to open the existing discussion.
Why is All About Me missing or incomplete?
The educator’s Profile shows All About Me when the feature is enabled for the child. A family response appears when information is available. If the section or response is missing, check with your manager and the family before assuming the information has been lost.
All About Me is the family’s perspective. Use the response as a starting point for a conversation with the family, alongside what you notice at the centre.
