Once you've created your learning story or added in notes about observations and assessment, you'll notice that Mana has generated a blue plan as a follow-up suggestion which let's you create a detailed plan based on your ideas with just a few clicks.
Step-by-step guide:
Note: In order to see the one-click blue plan appear, you must have prior notes on the child detailing your observations and assessments (e.g., learning stories, jottings, notes in the rationale section behind your goals). These two sections lay the foundation for your follow-up plan.
1. Look for the blue plan suggestion
You may find it in the following areas:
"Follow-Ups" section in any learning story
The guided view of any journey (where a plan is recommended as the next step).
Tip: Donโt see any suggestions? Go to View Journey โ Guided โ Regenerate to refresh the suggestions.
2. Create the plan by selecting Create Now
3. Set the duration and click next
4. Add any additional notes to the content text box if needed
5. Click Generate
Your plan document will include:
Learning context
Resources
Connections to milestones and outcomes
Teaching strategies
6. Read, review, edit and approve your document while in Edit Mode
Edit the document content/title directly
Use the Magic Edit bar ("What should I change?") for quick edits (e.g., extra suggestions)
Translate your document into any available language with Translate (original in English will appear below the translation)
Use Fix Grammar & Spelling if you wrote in additional information directly
Upload media (images, videos, PDFs)
7. Select Save to enter Viewing Mode
Use the panel on the right to scroll through:
Info: your original text & observed, created, and last modified dates
Coach Sue: for a coaching conversation
Follow Ups: to view location of the document and choose next steps
8. Go back to the child's Journey and check for next steps suggested by Coach Sue.
