Mana helps educators stay on track with each child’s learning journey. Occasionally, a journey may be marked as "Falling Behind" on your dashboard. Below we explain what this means, how Mana calculates progress, and what to do if something doesn’t look right.

How Mana decides a journey is "Falling behind"

  • Progress check: Mana looks at the stages completed in a journey, not the individual pieces of content inside each stage.

  • Time vs. progress: Around the halfway point of the journey (e.g., 1.5 months into a 3-month goal), Mana expects at least 40 % of the total stages to be complete.

  • Flagging: If fewer than 40 % of stages are complete at this midpoint, the journey is automatically flagged as Falling Behind.

This helps teams quickly see where follow-up or adjustments might be needed.
