Self-initiated Mana account set up process
I want to create a personal Mana account for myself. I have never used Mana before. What should I do?
Follow these steps to create an account with Mana and log in for the first time:
Visit the log-in page and enter your email address
Create a password and click "Sign in to Mana"
Head to your email account and confirm the verification email in your inbox
Once you have done this head back to the Mana log-in page and click "Confirm Verification"
Enter the following details:
First name
Last name
How you are planning to use Mana
Click Continue
Proceed to Setting up your profile (below)
I want to create a Mana account for myself and my team. I have never used Mana before. What should I do?
Follow the steps above to create an account for yourself
Proceed to Setting up your profile (below)
Follow the steps below to Invite educators to your team (below)
I have been invited to join a team in Mana. What should I do?
Check your inbox for the invitation you received to join Mana
Accept the invitation and follow the guidance above to finalise your account set up
Remember: Create your account using the same email address that you were invited to Mana with so that you can immediately access the team you have been added to
Setting up your profile
When you access Mana for the first time, Mana will ask you questions about your years of experience and your current role within the sector. Once provided, select "Continue"
By answering these set up questions, you are helping us to create a personalised experience in Mana for you
Create a Team Name, select your country and click "Next"
Select your philosophy from one of the theorists available
Tip: Select "Custom" to enter your own personal teaching philosophy. Click "Next" to continue
Select your framework and click "Next"
Invite educators to your team
You can now invite educators to your team so you can start collaborating:
Add each educators email address one at a time. Use the plus icon "+" to add educators
Keep adding until you have invited all of your educators, then select "Next"
The educators you have invited will receive an email with an invitation to join your team
Congratulations on getting started with Mana. Click "Let's go!" to start using Mana!
Advise your educators to accept the invitation to join your team and reinforce that they must set up their Mana account using the same email address you used to add them to your team in Mana.
